We help those experiencing homelessness in Folsom move toward self-sufficiency and lasting independence.

History

Our Beginning

In 2016, the City of Folsom called on faith-based and community organizations to help shelter unhoused residents during the winter season. This led to the founding of HART of Folsom, and the launching of Folsom’s first winter shelter in 2017.

Who We Are

HART of Folsom is part of a regional network of 10 grassroots HART organizations in the Sacramento area. We are a volunteer-led nonprofit powered by community members, faith groups, and local partners who care deeply about serving our unhoused neighbors.

Where We’re Going

With seven transitional housing units and strong case management, we reduce homeless annually. As we expand our capacity in 2025, we invite you to join us—sign up for our newsletter to stay connected and make a difference.
