Thank you for your vote!

While awards have never been the goal, this nomination is a meaningful opportunity to shine a brighter light on the work happening here in our community to reduce homelessness. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made together - and even more motivated to keep showing up with compassion, consistency, and hope. It would be an honor to receive your vote. Every vote helps raise awareness and strengthens the community support that makes our mission possible.

BDOG Fiesta Recap

We cannot be more thrilled to tell you that our Big Day of Giving Fiesta drive was a fabulous success! More than 100 donors contributed over $47,000! The dessert raffle was such a hit contributing over $16,000 with the highest dessert coming in at $2,000 - outrageously generous! Our sponsors contributed over $7,600 and our guests and ticket sales exceeded $9,700. We are so grateful for all the support given to help build housing for our unhoused students, and we look forward to celebrating with you in the fall at the grand opening.

Folsom Pro Rodeo is Approaching!

It's our chance once again to support our city and earn funds for our housing program and winter shelter. The rodeo is July 2, 3 and 4 - Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Please come spend an evening with us (4:15-appriximately 9:00) assisting Rodeo guests at the Upper Entry Gate. We need 10 volunteers each night. The job involves standing, primarily in shade. We're provided lots of cold water and a dinner break. You'll get to watch a bit of the rodeo, and feel free to stay and watch the fireworks. There is a lot more information on our site - job, t-shirt, parking, etc. We'll provide more information as the date gets closer. Feel free to contact Bev Siess with any questions (Cyclingirl@att.net or 530-306-6484) We look forward to seeing you at the rodeo - thank you!
